Our Story

In 2004, Superior Home Health was established. Its first location was in McAllen, Texas, as a licensed and certified agency. By the fall of 2006, Superior Home Health opened its doors in Brownsville, Texas and Eagle Pass, Texas as a licensed and certified agency as well. Consequently, in the summer of 2007, Superior Home Health opened in Del Rio, Texas and San Antonio, Texas. The Eagle Pass and Del Rio locations became CHAP accredited in January 2009. Also, in January 2010, Superior Home Health opened an office in Uvalde, Texas and licensed in April 2010 then accredited in 2011. In addition, in the summer of June 2012, Superior Home Health opened its doors in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In November 2011, Superior recognized the need to give palliative and end of life care for patients with a terminally ill diagnosis. Thus, with this vision, three Hospice facilities in McAllen, Del Rio, and San Antonio, Texas were established. In January 2013 all three locations became CHAP accredited. Today, Superior services 31 counties, surrounding over 427 cities throughout the southern region of Texas and Clark County in Nevada.

Fast-forward to 2016, with a combined census of over 1,100 patients, the company is expanding its service lines to include a wider variety of post-acute care services. Consequently, offering a holistic approach to patient-centered care.

Our Corporate Office

Our Corporate office, 1224 LTD Consulting was founded in January of 2007. Thus, focusing on servicing Superior Home Health and Superior Hospice agencies. 1224 was located in McAllen, Texas, and since then has grown and moved to San Antonio, Texas. Here, it serves as the corporate office solely for Superior Home Health and Superior Hospice. In addition, 1224 gives billing, human resources, and payroll services to all Superior Home Health and Superior Hospice locations. More services include consulting, information technology, and training. 1224’s purpose is to ensure all Superior Home Health and Superior Hospice offices follow all policies, procedures, protocols, and compliance issues. For instance, all within federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Mrs. Belinda Juarez owns and operates all of these companies. She is a Registered Nurse with 15 years of experience in the Home Health and Hospice industry. Along with her, stands her corporate team of experienced nurses and staff that monitor day to day operations.
