Covering Hospice Care
Most private insurances cover Hospice Care. Also, Medicaid and Medicare.
Congress set up the Medicare Hospice Benefit in 1982. In addition, this would come under Medicare Part A. This aims to give patients compassionate care for life-limiting illnesses and manage their symptoms better.
Drugs and medical facilities are becoming more expensive. Consequently, Hospice Aid helps terminally ill patients with such expenses. Some are OTC, or over-the-counter drugs, prescriptions, medical supplies and equipment, and also with counseling sessions for the family.
