Director of Business Development and IT
Franklin Torres has been a member of the Superior Executive Team since November of 2008. Franklin is a seasoned Business Development and Technology Professional with over 25 years of experience. He, along with the rest of our leadership team, strives to build strong relationships with the community, medical professionals and other healthcare providers. The sole purpose of these is to provide SUPERIOR, compassionate care to our patients and their families.
Franklin believes in 3 guiding principles in life, which are: serve others, never compromise your values, and always be a blessing to others. He applies these principles to both his personal, as well as his professional life. He believes that working in the healthcare industry, especially in hospice, is a calling.
Aside from his Director Business Development role, as a Technology Professional, Franklin serves as our Director of Information Technology. He manages our information technology infrastructure. Thus, ensuring strict compliance with State and Federal Privacy Rules and Regulations. He also ensures the back office systems can support our operations.
Franklin is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Also, his studies include Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Politecnica De Puerto Rico and Information Management Technology from Texas State Technical College in Harlingen, Texas.
Franklin is married and has two beautiful children. In addition, he enjoys traveling to his homeland of Puerto Rico and loves to dance to salsa music.
